The St Austell Market House CIC Board are committed to slowing the spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and are monitoring Public Health England and the Governments advice regularly to ensure our tenants and their customers are safe and well whilst working hard to minimise business disruption as much as possible.

With this in mind and given the Governments most recent advice, to allow all non essential shops and businesses to open, the Market House will open its doors to the Public as of Monday 15th June 2020.

Only some of our tenants will open to the public from the 15th June, others will follow as and when they are prepared and feel safe to do so. They will have their own individual social distancing measures in place within their units. Those who are not quite ready to open will continue to use the building; to manage incoming deliveries or to handle their businesses, via online, through a delivery service or kerbside collection. Please contact them directly for specific opening times and services.

Within the Market House there is a new one system with signs and arrows giving you directions to follow. The right handside stair case is up only and the left hand staircase is down only. You will see 2 metre distancing signs at key areas around the building to remind the public to adhere to social distancing at all times. Hand sanitisers are placed at each entrance, you must use them as you enter the building.

The Board realise the importance of regular cleaning of the building and hygiene during these times and have taken steps to increase the current service offer to ensure the safety of our tenants and visiting public.

Please note that during June renovation to the front doors and windows will be ongoing with restrictions in place to access the building via the front door. The side entrance will be open.

Thanks for your support.

Together we will get through this.
